Teaċ Jack is a family run business set in the Donegal gaeltacht area of Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore), nestled between the wild Atlantic Ocean on one side and the stunning Cnocfola (Bloody Foreland) on the other. Teaċ Jack offers a home away from home experience with stunning views of the local islands Inis Mean, Inis Oirthir and Gola.
As we are set on the Wild Atlantic Way we offer an ideal location for exploring all the hidden gems, beaches and coves along the coast as well as the lakes and the mountains in the area.
After spending a day exploring there is nothing better than popping into our traditional bar to sample some of our excellent homemade dishes with fresh local seafood, locally farmed meats and locally grown vegetables, all washed down with one of Donegal’s finest ales and beers.
With your hunger abated and your thirst quenched relax and enjoy live music in the bar by local artists or try some traditional Ceilí dancing under the careful tutelage from the lady of the house (Bean an Tí) Mary Mhic Pháidín and Mairtín O’ Dúbhgáin our accordion player from nearby Tory Island.
If you have an interest in the Irish language there is no better place to hear the local’s converse in it or try a few words yourself as the locals say “cúpla focal.” The Céad Mile Failte awaits you
