Located between the Trá Dhearg and Magheraclogher Beach, the Trá mór at 1km long is by far the longest of these 3 beaches and as such is very popular for walking & running. Low tides reveal a huge beach that stretches out as far as the narrow channel (>150m) that seperates the beach from Carrickfinn (mainland) & Inis Sionnaigh.
